About Me
I am a fully licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist. I completed my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of South Alabama in 1999. Since then, I have devoted more than 25 years to helping children communicate clearly and confidently.
For much of my career I worked in private practice in Washington State. I recently moved to the Dexter/Ann Arbor area, and I’m thrilled to continue to provide speech and language intervention services right here in Michigan. In addition to working with developmental speech and language disorders I have experience working with children who have completed or are going through the reconstructive process for cleft palate to develop optimal speech sounds. I also have extensive experience working with speech and language deficits secondary to syndromes such as Down, Klinefelter, Velocardiofacial, ADNP, and Frontonasal Dysplasia, etc.
My approach is rooted in compassion, experience, and evidence-based practice. I believe that the best results happen when we work together. Progress doesn’t just happen during therapy sessions, but in everyday moments at home. I strive to build strong relationships with families, empowering parents with strategies and confidence so that change becomes part of your daily life.
