About Me
Hello — I’m Jodie, your dedicated pediatric speech-language pathologist. I completed my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of South Alabama in 1999, and since then, I have devoted more than 25 years to helping children communicate clearly, confidently, and joyfully.
For much of my career, I have worked in private practice in Washington State, supporting kids with a wide range of speech and language needs. Recently, I moved to the Dexter / Ann Arbor area, and I’m thrilled to continue my passion for early intervention, childhood speech disorders, and language development right here in Michigan.
My approach is rooted in compassion, expertise, and evidence-based practice. I believe that the best results happen when we work together — not just during therapy sessions, but in everyday moments at home. I strive to build strong relationships with families, empowering parents with strategies and confidence so that therapy doesn’t just happen in my office — it becomes part of your daily life.
